April's Flowers

Just Fishing (continued)

Day 2, of the fishing extravaganza...

Up until this point, they'd only caught little breem. Which were perfectly happy to eat at hooks that were baitless. This catfish was caught without bait as well.

The girls are pretty self sufficient, they can bait the hook and unhook the fish. The only delimma with this catch is that we weren't "schooled" in catfish release and daddy was at work. In the end, we opted to cut the line.

Valentine's Day 2012

This year's Valentine's Day cards.

This is one of our cats when it was a kitten.

GA actually sketched the heart with colored pencils and I scanned the picture to make a card.

Nine

Someone had a birthday last week...a whopping nine years old!

The child that I once feared would not be a "reader", due to her complete lack of interest in learning the alphabet, has been acknowledged for having read the third most books out of her whole school's Accelerated Reading Program. I couldn't help but think of her when I saw this short film...

Gettin' It Done

I found a note that was written between Cat (8) and her friend. They were trying to make plans for the weekend.

It's this line that cracks me up...
