I knew we'd be passing by my chosen cotton field on our way out of town this past weekend so I packed some clothes - just in case. It was raining when we left the house but, as luck would have it...it wasn't raining at the field. We pulled off the road, whisked out our picture clothes and had a little photo shoot. Unfortunately, it didn't take long before the sun started peaking out from behind the clouds and we were all sweating, specifically me - since I was the one leaping over the cotton plants to beat the timer on the camera. Needless to say, I've omitted THOSE pictures.
The shoot was a little challenging...
competing with grumpy moods, the brightness of the sun, the heat and the urge to pick cotton.
This is my favorite of the girls because it's a natural moment - despite the hair in the face.
This was the last cotton picture I had of them. I think it was about four years ago.
- Not planned, just pulled over on the side of the road.
Gosh, they have grown up SO much! Great pictures!
