The Drake Hotel - Chicago
We had family in town last weekend. I thought it'd be fun for all of us to stay on the Magnificent Mile (Michigan Avenue) - the shopping mecca of Chicago. I chose The Drake Hotel. It was built in 1920. It was used as a set for scenes in "The Blues Brothers", "Risky Business" and "My Best Friends Wedding". Princess Diana even stayed here once.

Love all the "stuff". One of the first things we do each morning is check out "family" blogs. Truely hope you all had a great time together. Wish we could have been with you. We don't comment much but we very much look forward to the new blogs.
